Oh my goodness my inner child would be thrilled to show up in Ripleys! Fun to dream though! When I looked at the clock I too thought of procrastination, one of my many faults!! Then when you need to show up but are uninspired, your idea bank will save the day. And just showing up every day becomes much easier.
Yay to that, Bob! Thanks so much, Kerfe! Thanks so much, Mary! But yay!
Today I painted my third murmuration. Happy 4th Anniversary! It got me thinking about my art journey. Some day I might have to add them up. Your alarm clock looks exactly like the one I had in my younger years, except mine was purple. Thanks so much, Lori!

I only started in ! At first I thought, Ha, likely story, but then I realized, that is exactly what successful creative people do. As for that shiny alarm clock, it is a true replica of the one I used to want to throw across the room when it would blare into my dreams and insist that I get up and yet your painting brings back the fondest of memories!
Thanks, Sarah! I had an alarm clock just like this when I was a teenager, though my internal alarm is pretty dependable. I like the way it looks shiny silver, while the shadow appears grayish-dusty plum, but you used the same colors for both areas I think. Thanks, Sharon! NOTE: Doodlewash login has changed.
